Interesting. I didn't know of MA's Chinese population. When I was living in the state, I remember Greeks and Italians making up a large portion of Boston's population. Apparently you can count on your customers to be pleasant or rude. Looks like about a 50-50 split. judi

I used to wonder why the US govt should give them citizenship.These days resentment is mounting among the natives...

Interesting as always. I'm not sure what to make of the stats. I suppose on any given day I'm both a saint and a sinner. I surprise myself at times at how much of a complete ass I can be, and then the same day do something kind. It's like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde. We humans are a strange lot. I applaud you for volunteering at the food pantry. I've yet to do that, but I do support the local food bank with monthly donations. Now that things have slowed down I'm looking for ways to assist those in need. Thanks so much for sharing. Have a blessed evening.

Interesting mathematical conclusion, Liz. It seems that no matter what one of this ethnicity says or does, they will fall into one of these two categories. Great job volunteering.

That makes sense to me, of course they are Chinese, but, but, although we have fourth and fifth generational Chinese here, (a lot of them came for the gold rush days in the nineteenth century) but we get lots of Chinese students and Asiana of Chinese descent. Beautifully written Liz, blessings Roy

That makes sense to me, of course they are Chinese, but, but, although we have fourth and fifth generational Chinese here, (a lot of them came for the gold rush days in the nineteenth century) but we get lots of Chinese students and Asiana of Chinese descent. Beautifully written Liz, blessings Roy

My daughter who lives in Vancouver and is usually pretty neutral when it comes to races, once made that comment when a Chinese lady suddenly stopped in front of her and she rear ended her. Vancouver has a very large Asian population.

Pinning rude customers solely on Chinese customers is stereotyping. Being rude cannot be given placed on one certain group. But I must admit, I think people are more self-absorbed and are more demanding in that the world owes them, look at fights on airplanes, road rage, assaulting waitstaff, and looking to blame others for your situation.
Question on the beginning sentence: We inundated with well over 100 customers? better? At first, I thought there were customers over 100 years!

LOL, but you're not taking into the fact the ones that are neither rude or gracious. Somehow you need to factor those in, right? I think so.
