Yes, it is always very sad to see such memorials, especially if teddy bears are left for children. Well composed, thoughtful and meaningful. Best wishes for your entry in the contest.

Nicely done. "the bouquet of memories' is a great line. We have seen all too many of these memorials along the roadside. Tens of thousands of people die in traffic accidents each year in the United States.

Hello Author,
I liked this poem. My only suggestion is to lose the capitals. Japanese poetry doesn't use them except for proper nouns, otherwise it's just right! Nice job! :)

This sad poem brings back the memory of when a young local girl was killed crossing a train track and for years friends and family laid bouquets by the site. Your last line says it all. Rod
