This is a good uplifting poem entry for the contest.
Listed are some sound advice to this rhymed four verse poem -
the second verse being my favourite.

The second sentence came across slightly forced. I understand
what is trying to be said but it was not as flowing. A suggestion
for you to consider or ignore -

"We are not perfect; God's over all."
suggestion -
Nobody is perfect after all.

"Perseverance - the road to success."
suggestion -
Perseverance will lead to success.
