You did great. You clearly expressed why the word 'forgiveness' means so much to you. Your first line was perfection - a feeling felt by many (if not most) individuals sometime within their lifetime. Most people turn away when they hear the word 'forgiveness', but they miss the blessing and the healing of the spirit. Forgiveness is a hard road to take. Your author notes (bible scriptures) justify the benefits of forgiving and the instruction to do so.
I enjoyed this story very much.

Your emotions are translated very effectively in this piece. I suppose it was the repetition of certain words that kind of took me out of the story. The phrase 'I was' is also used a lot. I feel like it could have been more tactful. Overall, I feel the flow is interrupted by quite a few different things. Reading the piece out loud helps me sometimes.

Forgiveness is a great relief for those who have held/hold bad/sad intentions or actions against others, seeking forgiveness sometimes means forgiving yourself, I found this a very interesting and intriguing read, very well written and thanks for sharing****kahpot
