What a funny story. 1957, hah! You mean people used to mow lawns and EDGE. I remember my father had a push edger. Miserable thing. Lawnboys, indeed! Another good one!

Apologies for the yuck. I am averse to scatological "humor," but when antics of dogs are featured in a story, amusement trumps revulsion.

Woof!

Yikes! I was thinking that you were going to tell us that Bernie left part St. Bernard puppies in his wake, but he apparently left messes instead. But why in someone's lawnmower? That's an odd dog.

It wasn't left on the mower--in the grass.

Lol. Ah, dogs...

Oh, my god. That's messy. That's why I don't want a dog. However we often babysit our nephew's dog nowadays. He is a very sweet dog and never was a trouble.
Well done.

What was the outdoor event? A gathering of the dogs sounds like it could generate a few more stories.
Big dog, big poo extrusions from a St Bernard. I bet Chuck had fun spreading the story at school about his teacher's unfortunate incident..

I thought you were taking your dogs to get photographed at some canine event.

That was a different story.

My mind makes a mash-up of your scenarios.

Oh dear, what a disaster. Bad enough when it has dried out. I think it would be a bit hard for Chuck to ever look at his maths teacher without smiling at the memory of this!
