Hello Jake,
Another excellent poem in the sonnet form with very good rhymes
and meter.
Not dwelling on mistakes is one of life's lessons
that many have trouble with. It's hard to let go,
but the past can't be changed, only the future
by living in the present.
I hope you reach a hundred and more in good health
able to continue writing fine poetry.

I so enjoy your poetry. It is always simple and easy to follow. Some in their attempt at depth miss the mark to the extent that it goes over the heads of their intended audience. I know whenever I read something that you have written, I am not only going to enjoy and understand it, I am going to read something that I most likely agree with one hundred percent. Great job.

I'm glad that you are content at your achievement at age 96. I think you have a good chance to make to 100 and beyond. The longest living person was a French woman who lived to 122.
