What a cutie! At that age it's all about the dress. Some of us wish we could go back to pretending to be married, rather than undergoing the relationship minefield that ensued. Dreams are safer. Playing dress up is such fun - no one gets hurt. Sorry to be a downer... it's a really sweet poem.

Which one is the granddaughter? Very cute poem and very realistic for some little girls. They say wedding day is her day, so this is very understandable. The poem has the correct syllable counts. This is will a strong contender.

You have made excellent use of your seventeen syllables in this appealing, charming poem about a little girl's--than a big girl's--dreams. The artwork is perfect.
