It seems to me the one with funds should win hands down. It might be different if they were legally bound together, but under the circumstances Lauren should not feel any obligation. Maybe he should start a Go Fund Me. I seems to work for others.

It is sad. I think Lauren is wise to be cautious, and I hope that he wasn't just interested in her because she had accommodation and an income, however small. It is a shame, because doubtless they both need some-one to love, but somehow they just don't seem quite right for each other.

Being disabled is not something our country adequately compensates. Even the best government disability payment puts the cost of living independently out of financial possibility range for most. Add to that Mick's sitiuation, which seems to suggest he does not get social security disabi!pity and how are they to pursue arelationship other than under your roof? As if relationships aren't fragile enough! I feel for them both... But Lauren's got her priorities straight! (Good jpb, Mom!)
