Love is a never ending emotion... some times hot, and some times cold. We don't even have to walk away anymore...just shut the phone off in a middle of a fight. Hope it works out

They've forgiven each other--not so sure that's a good thing--the issues continue to fester.

Nothing like real life stories.
Did I tell you.
Yes tell you as in order you. To look at Dr. Terry whals who reversed her ms.
She on you tube.
Also an interview with Dr. Steven Gundry.
And wrote a book.
Am I unrelenting?
Unstoppable?
A resident nudnik?
Love :-))Z.

You are in a class by yourself!

"You can't take back cruel words immortalized in text." So true, but they beat, beating and trip to the ER and the arrival of police. Not to mention the heart ache of a parent when the fools swear it won't happen again, even though it is already a repeat, a repeat, a repeat.... The clock ticks as the pugilists invite family and friends to believe their lies; It's just a lover's quarrel, no need to worry.

Oh dear...I like the phrase - agonize to her hearts discontent
These two will have sooo much fun at the wedding. I'll be looking for more stories. Take care

You post is informative and yet sad, Liz. You did a great job with the details of your daughter's relationship with Mick. It seems they are at odds with one another many times. I hope they can work this one out. They do seem to care about one another.
Respectfully, Jan

Hello Liz.
In situations like these I have little to nothing to offer. Relationships are hard and the people living them no far more than I.

Lauren has a lot of issues to deal with. It's understandable that she would be touchy. Mick isn't much better. It's a good thing they are doing this by texting rather than in person. Who knows what could happen? Without knowing the nature of their disagreements, I refrain from offering my usually sage advice. It sounds like you've been keeping out of it. judi

From what I gathered, they don't actually see each other that often, so no bodily harm will be suffered. judi

I have a feeling this relationship may not be good for either of them. I read your two posts out of order. Hmmm, it's none of my business.
She could rerereview. (I think there may be one too many 're')

That rerereview was intentional=3 times

An verbal argument can dissipate in the air. Text, messages however, once written serve as a reminder of the hateful words spoken and can grind on the recipient.
Hopefully, Loren someone makes her happy and cannot type.

Young love . . . break up to make up. Scream and cuss and call each other names, then wait three days and they are both trying to figure out how to fix the problem and get laid. Oops, sorry, mom's don't want to hear that part. LOL. Thanks for sharing.
