That is so incredible, isn't it? He seems to be a lot more intelligent than a lot of humans. I loved watching the video (even though I watched it on my emails, it's so amazing.) I loved this, and your short story about him. I'm sure many Fanstorians will be amazed. Well done, dear SATP, loved reading this. Love and hugs :)) Sandra

Thank you. The animal world has more intelligence than we know. I think the world is finally realizing that. Love you, Sister.

I wonder if Lisa May has seen this bird. She lives in NZ. I found your little tale most interesting and backed up by that video too. Altogether a most interesting post.

I was tremendously inspired by your well written and informative post! Thank you for including the video! A lesson here for so many, myself included, who dwell in self pity.
There is much "ability" in "disability!". Bruce got on with livIng! Delightful!

Thank you. I thought the same thing about self-pity. Animals just get on with things.

Wow, how very interesting. He is an exceptional bird! Thanks so much for this well written piece and the video. Remember Koko. She was an ape who mastered sign language.

Wow! Thank you for sharing about this remarkable bird. I started to watch the video but we've been without power for six hours so don't want to use up my phone battery. Hooray Bruce teaching humans what keas can do!

Thank you. He learned to adapt, and didn't waste time on self-pity. We can learn a lot from animals.

This is an amazing story. I love stories about the intelligence of birds and animal. Knowing that something with so small a brain can accomplish a task like this makes makes we wonder if we're lot letting some of out brain power go to waste. Thanks for sharing this story.

I think we truly underestimate much of nature. Hard to tell what wildlife can and will do when they need to. Love your story on Bruce Miss Yvonne!! Blessings...

What an amazing little bird Bruce is to adapt so well. I loved your story about him, Yvonne. You highlighted his use of the pebbles for grooming well. I'm thrilled he was rescued and has a safe place to enjoy his new life. Your words are well thought out. I like the bold font used and the great descriptive words and phrases. The video is awesome. I loved watching it. Bruce is a smart bird, and we can learn more about his kind from him.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan
