I really enjoyed your spooky and creepy tale. It fits the Halloween theme perfectly in my opinion. I found myself instantly drawn in and on the edge of my seat. You skillfully wove this tale together with cleverness and perfect pacing. Thank you for providing such an intriguing read.

This was horrifically funny (lol). Excellent use of 50 words. Kept my attention from the first word. So, what were they doing to his skull - a lobotomy? lol. Entertaining, good imagery and visuals, this should do well in the contest. Good luck with it.

This is good. I think being awake for a surgery or alive during an autopsy are two similar and common nightmares. It is the pain and the loss of control combined with awareness that makes these stories so horrible.

Hi there,

these little pieces can be very difficult to pull off but I think you've done a good, solid job with this one.

I did find the last line somewhat unnecessary though. It just sort of felt tacked on in a way. Just a thought.
