A very intense story. The flow is good and mimics the confusion and activity. The words are simple and hit hard. The story has all components of an actual story. Beginning, conflict, resolution of problem and conclusion.
I have no suggestions.
A good read. Thanks for sharing.

Great job describing some real historical events and hitting on things a Marine would remember, like who the enemy was led by. Equally great job on the imagery
Unsure if this is fiction or your POV, if fiction well written, if your actual POV, Semper Fi and thanks for sharing!

This is a very good tale. It reads like a real life event. There are some attempt but no big out of this world Hollywood heroics. The attack came, the protagonist did his best but lost. There was no great escape, no amazing one man victory. Just war.
