I loved your wonderful tribute to August, Roy-- I was thus moved to sample his work and found a kindred spirit of faith and deep belief. I will pray for him and for his friends and family who grieve him at this time. How beautiful that his stunning words live on forever! I began in 2013, when he joined and literally lost myself among his wonderful posts. Amazing how we miss so many wonderful souls on this site--it's so big and we cannot possibly know everyone! I found his "Destiny" poem to be such a stunning testament. I pray my humble effort comforts Amber...and look forward to that heavenly writer's group where we can meet, in God's time. When someone with a good heart comes across the writings of another and can feel the love and greatness it generates for all, it's impossible not to understand and believe both people were touched by God and whenever they are called home, God will be waiting with open arms.

Thank you Carol. It's such a big site! Sometimes we just don't get to meet or read everyone's work. When I heard of August's passing and this book tribute I truly wanted to sample his work... Turns out it was wonderful and I read all he had posted! There MUST be a writer's group in heaven, don't you think? I'm praying we all get to unite there and share our heavenly blessings! I hope all will take the time to read at least some of his work... I regret never having the chance to find his writing on this huge site before I learned of his passing. I was quite moved by his poems and by Amber's message. As writer's we are all kindred spirits I think and the loss of one is a loss for all. I am on my way to recovery...
