Your rhyme scheme works very well, and your rhymes are all well chosen for both the sound and what the words add to your story. Your words are touching, and make for a beautiful tribute.

Before writing this review, I went looking for August. How could I have missed his poetry. I happened to pick one-"Hold Me Mommy" that set me crying again. It's about a pregnant lady who loses a baby right before it is due. I have a close friend who is holding a funeral for her 33 week old fetus today. This poor young friend has had cancer and now has lost her baby. I don't dare show her August's poem. His writing is too powerful. It bares the pains of our Concrete Jungle.
This is an exquisite tribute. I'm glad that I caught his poetry before it is taken down.

He made the night more colourful than day,
I do all my reading (and most writing) at night, so this gave me pause for thought and made me wish I had found him on FanStory earlier.
