Hah! Concave creases! I laughed our loud!
Of all life's chores I could live a happy life without the ever picking up an iron again. So tedious! Chuck was ahead of his time! He took wash and wear...to....oh, darn! Just wear them again!

Ha ha ha .Chuck had to do double work and still go to school in unwashed pants, I wonder why he decided to iron his pants on the carpet...Just like that ..anyway we are having a good laugh at Chuck's expense...

Liz,
That boy is an unending font of stories, isn't he? hahahaha I bet he remembered to do something different the next time, though, didn't he? Like maybe lay a towel down first, or lay the pants on a table, or... I bet his ingenious mind figured out a solution. He's a smart one!
Fun title, too! (His gal is pretty slick!)
Thanks!

This was funny, Liz. I enjoyed reading it. In the end, Chuck did what most boys would have done. However, he did make an attempt to look presentable beforehand.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

That sounds about right, I went through a period in my youth when mum went on strike washing my clothes unless I cleared my floor of old, worn clothes, but I simply put on the old, in the end she couldn't stand it, and relented ofbthe stand-off, heh heh, well done Liz, blessings Roy

LMAO! Poor Chuck. You pick on him all the time, so I'm figuring he must be a very good sport. Either that or you don't tell him he's the blunt of many of your stories. LOL. Great job!

Sounds like a guy. Having raised 4 boys I completely understand, but I made sure they wore clean, pressed clothes everyday to school. My son, Jeff, my real stinker, had just taken a bath. When I saw him, I said, 'Jeff, you just got out of the tub, how did your T-shirt get dirty?'
His answer, 'Mom, I put the clean side out.' HMMM>

He tried and failed. What would a young man know about cat hair being on the rug or an inside-out pleat? Chuck is a man with many comical memories to feed your repertoire.
