Oh-oh, why does Ken want to know where she is? I wondered how she was found in such an out-of-the-way place. Could Tony be blackmailing a federal agent? Can't wait to find out.

So Jackson declares his undying love for his blind girl woman, Sally, and won't leave her while she's still unwell. Then the FBI agent Ken Washburn happens along and asks Jackson where Analiese is located, of course she's in a safe house. Well done Sally, great post, blessings Roy

Hello Sal.

One thing that may complicating matter is that a wounded animal is often the most dangerous. As he cuts through the area of Black Bayou Creek, anyone who meets him will be in danger. Fortunately, Ana is in a safe house somewhere. Hopefully that will stay a secret.

I stopped eating fried baloney when I moved away from home 54 years ago. HAHAHA

I forgot to remove the fried bologna comments from this. Thank you. It belongs to the next chapter. I'm glad you enjoyed it though. Sending you my very best, dear Z. Bologna coming--

My grandma use to slice bologna thick and tell me it was steak. I never tasted steak until I was 22 years old. HAHAHA

I like it! Washburn had to "write" his question in order that no one would hear the answer. I also liked how Jackson realized the need for his priorities to be clear while working in a dangerous job. His wife comes first. That's a great marriage!

Hi Sally,
Shorter than usual, but I enjoyed it all the same.
It must be nice to be able to get homemade pancakes and real maple syrup for breakfast... in a hospital!
In the second scene of your chapter, I'm guessing that this is Eugene making good his escape? He's wounded, so Ken Washburn must have hit his target at least once in the exchange of gunfire. I doubt that those tracking him would notice discarded chewing tobacco by the waterfall, but a dog might.
In the last scene, with Jackson, Ken Washburn, and the nurse, I'm a bit surprised that Jackson would know where they took Analiese this time. That should be a huge FBI secret. That's why they call it a "safe house". Bad enough to be whispered in front of the nurse, they wrote it down on a piece of paper! Could the nurse be one of Tony Alfanzi's people? He seems to have all the connections.

"She let go of a long sigh at the sight at me and my overnight guests." ... (I suggest,
She let go a long sigh at the sight of me and my overnight guests.)

"His shoulder felt hot to the touch, with (an) deep ache that stretched down into his heart muscle." ... (a)

Keep up the good work, Sally! You're doing a marvelous job. I hope you are feeling better.

Hugs,
Kimbob

It's always nice to wake up and read about the characters we get to know in the stories we read every week. It's like getting to travel without ever having to leave the La-Z-Boy. Thanks for sharing.
