Attractive art work and color scheme.
Good formatting.
The rhyme and rhythm could benefit from a bit more syncopation.
Thank you for sharing
Best wishes for the contest

This is a nice rhyming poem with a clever little hero. Bees are amazing creatures. We don't see many honeybees around where we live anymore. We have several acres and we don't spray, but we only have yellow jackets, a few bumblebees and and those that make little clay chambers in window corners that we call mud-dobbers. It's a sad state of things. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks for your review. I had never heard of yellow jackets until I moved to the US and got stung by a couple.

You are welcome. Yes, yellow jackets are nasty. Unlike honeybees, they can just keep on stinging!

How sweet. That was just adorable. The content flowed nicely as you poured your words upon the page. I've looked and I've wandered from poet to poem, and am really glad I landed on this beautifully written find. I'll be searching for more. Peace be with You.

This is sweet (no pun intended). The picture above it is perfect. The bee warns us of his purpose and identity reminding us that while industrious, he is also fragile. You may get stung but you will win in the outcome because you will survive.

This is so sweet. I love it. You made that bee come alive. He's a hard worker giving us what we need. I hate to see anyone kill them. We need them. Thank you for sharing this sweet poem.

Cute little poem in rhyming quatrains that follows the life cycle (sort of) of that most useful of creatures, the bee. I think it has been pointed out often enough that without bees, life on earth would grind to a halt, so your friendly bee is well worth celebrating.
Good luck in the contest, you PBnJphobe!

Thanks for your review Steve. I have never understood the American fascination for PBnJ.

Yes the life of our bees is increasingly precious since they are disappearing from our planet Earth - so many species going the same way- a poetic reminder here of just how important these winged creatures are to our existence
