I think all of your loyal readers have been waiting for Mary and Liz to come together! Can't wait to read their exchange in coming chapters. Mason seemed to have great skill at pulling the wool over Cassidy's eyes...
Love is blind! Sofia, I have no doubt, will follow Mason's direction in an attempt to save Miguel! Jam packed chapter! Bridging right to the next!--Karenina

Hey sweetie...Seeing you are reading the story, I will take that as a good sign for today.
Lots of action going on in these final chapters. I can't believe that's its almost over...well, then I have to start from the beginning again and make sure its all okay.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

It's been a great ride.... Stalled as I was, I dove back in and immediately became swept up in the twists and turns of crime and family love and loss and triumph... Can't hardly wait for your next book! (Okay, take a day or two rest....smile)---Karenina

I love that Liz and Mary are reuniting. I want to hear that conversation in addition to the one with the Cassidy and the agents. Next chapter maybe? Great job with juggling so many details. Blessings. Carol

Mason has Sofia, his puppet, on the run; meanwhile Liz is finally reconciling with Mary, her mother. The agents, along with Allie and Emma, are trying to glean some useful information from Cassidy's background, in knowing Mason--I hope they're successful.
Errors and suggestions:
"And I'd like some time to talk with Mary if she wouldn't mind."
-->
"And I'd like some time to talk with Mary, if she wouldn't mind."
"They all fall, Cassidy. It just takes a little longer with the bigger ones." [who is saying this?]

You're very welcome, my dear friend. No need to apologize. May God bless you richly, deeply and completely, and may He provide for all of your family's most urgent and special needs. May you feel the depth of His love, and may some of your family members, who have not yet made a commitment to Him, finally do so. I send you a big hug and a lot of love!
Blessings, Mary Kay xoxo

Umm! Looks like the finale is fast approaching. People are reconciling their difference. Wonder what poor Sofia is going to do with so many after her neck!. It would be interesting to see how you end this. Good luck with a terrific finale!

She will worry about her son's neck before her own, because she is a mother. It may take her a minute to realize that his life might lie in her hands, but I am certain she will get there.

This is coming together so nicely. I'm excited to see how things end but I hate for the story to end. That's how I know that I really have enjoyed a book. Patty

Wow...another awesome review and stars. Thank you so much. We still must rescue Annie, get Mary and her family together, and finish off a few other things. But we are very close to the end.

Well, we are getting many pieces put together and lives. Yes, it happens that people seldom see through the haze of loving eyes. But, this shows how many people Mason kept under control through fear, money, influence, every trick in the book.
Good chapter.

Thanks...Yes, Mason was a very controlling man. I can't imagine letting someone get control of me that way, but I've seen it happen to others. Thanks so much for reviewing, lancelot.

Excruciating! Please post ASAP about the rescue of Annie--how many chapters to go? Well done!
Heads up--your summary section got formatted strangely.

thanks...it's been doing that lately with the story as well. I have no idea what's going on with it.
I'm not sure how many chapters are left. I have an outline but it depends on how much goes on in one chapter or sometimes my mind takes me in a completely different direction than what I planned. Which is happening this very minute. LOL

As soon as we conjure them, our characters take over!

Well, I am glad for Mary and Liz/Hope that they are finally getting to know each other and accept what happened in their lives. It's too bad that Cassidy didn't realize what she was getting into with Mason until so much damage was done.
Question:
What did you mean with the Spanish:
Dios Mio, todos vamos a mortar. (matar=to kill; morir=to die)

Oh My God we are all going to die.....I think the autocorrect changed it to mortar. I've changed it back.
They say love is blind and in her case it was until it was too late. She's lucky she is alive.

Am glad that Mary and Liz will reconcile - although perhaps in real life it would take a bit more time for them to not mistrust each other.
Will they get to Sofia before she gets away? She will have a lot of incriminating evidence on her!
It's all coming together - everybody has little bits of multiple puzzles. Where is Michael at the moment? And his search for the gold?
Suggestion: No comma after "man" in "You believed the man you thought you were in love with".
Always interesting - you still keep us looking forward to seeing that another chapter is ready! Excellent.

Michael is still in the hospital with a broken leg. I was going to send Poppa there today to talk to him, but I haven't decided whether Cynthia will live or die.... LOL
Thanks for the review. Smiles, Carol
