This poem deserves to be considered as a form of verse. Thre rhythm is free flowing and the rhyme scheme is rhyming couplets within quatrains. It states its case clearly and cogently. It is not part of my job as a reviewr to either query or support the view of this or any other author.

I am with you on the pro life and pro choice question. Being a man, it is difficult for me to feel right about forcing my opinion on a woman. You have done a good job in in expressing your opinions in this piece.

I think that God has brought us here for a reason and is to make a difference. It's beautifully written. Very inspirational. Excellent work! Thank you for sharing!

In most cases, a women has the right to birth control or to keep her legs together. I am strongly pro-life. I do understand that rape and incest happen. If that does happen, the morning after pill is out there and can be taken. I do not approve of it being taken as birth control because someone got careless. Thank you for sharing your poem.

I had 4 children in 71/2 years all boys. My 3rd son, Michael, was born with a congenital heart defect and died during open heart surgery. Eight years after my 4th son was born I came up pregnant again. I was 40 years old. My doctor at Walter Reed Medical Center demanded I have an abortion because of Michael's heart condition and my age. He said I would NEVER deliver a normal baby. My husband and I refused the abortion. We said we'll deal with whatever God has in store for us. The doctor was furious and stated I was living in dinosaur times. My pregnancy was rocky and Steven was born one and a half months early. During delivery he and I almost died. That being said Steven is a genius with 165 IQ and one of the sweetest young men you'll ever meet. He's 28 years old and teaches high school math. His goal is to eventually teach college math. There is nothing wrong with Steven a spanking wouldn't cure, and he didn't get many of them. LOL

As I tried to state in my poem. God decides who lives or dies, not man who cannot determine or control his own birth. Thank you for your support.

I know what you mean when you say your 'feelings are all over the place' because you are so emotionally involved. (I am so sorry, dear man). I felt your author notes were very tactful and diplomatic, expressing your own feelings while being sensitive to others.

Personally, I think your poem was well thought out in all ways. Your 1st stanza laid out the theme; your last stanza neatly wrapped up the case for prolife; in between - brilliant examples of backing up your thoughts on why prolife.

Your overall presentation was great. I saw pink and blue, representative of baby girls and baby boys. Perfectly chosen photo, too. And, of course, the perfect title.

Blessings and hugs ... I really enjoyed this.

Who are we kidding? The very act of intercourse bears the intent to procreate. When you plant a flower by submerging the seed in the earth and then watering it, its growth begins immediately. We cannot be kind of pregnant. We either are or we are not!

I commend you for taking on such a tough subject in this well written poem.
Like you I am both prolife and pro choice. My own mom died in childbirth.
If someone reaches that decision I hope it because of severe circumstances.

You have so much creativity just bursting to come out, I just know it. What I would suggest to you though (remember this is only my opinion) is that you change your rhyming sequence to be 2nd line is rhyming with 4th line and so on. For me that just makes it much more interesting that way. Best wishes and keep writing

This is such a complicated subject and there are so many different situations that might alter our reasoning. I am prolife! But, like you, I believe there are many cases where women should have a right to make their own choice since it's their body, and baby, and them who know the circumstances best. Thanks for sharing, and I wish I had a six.

You and I are on the same page, I too am pro life and pro choice. Your words capture my thoughts and feelings on this subject. Your poetic flow and use of words strengthens your theme. Your words about unrestrained sexual attraction are so true and you show the consequences of it.

Thank you, I am overwhelmed by the positive comments I have so far received. I desired this type of reception, but feared I would not get it.
