This is a beautiful poem of tribute to someone who sounds like a very special person. Did this person write on this site? I'm sure he will be missed by those close to him but knowing his believers will meet him one day makes his passing seem less tragic.

I can't say I have ever read August's writing her, Roy. I read an honorarium poem written by Robyn Corum earlier today, and now this one by you. To have had injuries sustained in 9-ll and to have succumbed to them 20 years later, he must have been under an almost constant barrage of pain, mentally and physically. It's good that you knew him well here and have written such a moving poem to share with his family. God bless you, Roy.

He was a great man, he was the starter of Carpenters for Christ, sunk his own money into helping others. Thanks for the wonderful review, blessings Roy

What beautiful words and tribute to this casualty of terrorism. How very sad was this day and 20 years later, it is sadder. I spent the entire day watching clips from that disaster.
To see and hear those left behind was a sorrowful time for all. There are no words to say how sorry for the loss of good people whose hearts bore none of the evil that day wrought.
My heart and prayers go out to the families who lost loved ones. May they Rest In Peace, knowing they will never be forgotten.
A truly wonderful piece this is, Roy.
