Hi Portia, Thank You so much my sweet friend for an amazing review...I truly am going to miss him...as I know others will too...he was a very kind and loving man...
his daughter receive her Masters Degree in being a nurse a couple days after he passed...he wanted so bad to be there...she said he paid her way through school...sigh...
but I truly believe he knows she graduated...and she will see him again...
he is now Resting In Peace...and walking with God...
he is now home...

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend and I extend my sincere condolences to his family as well. 9/11 seems to continue its destruction to families. I can't even imagine the horror he must have seen and felt to not ever want to mention it again. I am happy that he will be rewarded with eternity as he walks with God in Heaven.

it's awful people are dying still from 9/11....
they remain sick through the years...
I'm going to miss August...but I know he is now at peace with God...and we will see him someday...

I want to thank you for sharing such tragic news, in the form of
your of this most consoling and perfect memoir of his all too brief
life as he was to all who came to know, admire, appreciate him
as fan, friend and unique kind of poetic inspiration to us, in his
own unique style and orientation. Incusively adding some little more
on his background and circumstances; ie being a survivor of the 911
horror working as a contractor, which hardly anyone knew; that making
him a Hero too of the 9ll tragedy and others still hearbroken survivors.
What we did know and all his fans, friends and admirers knew first
and foremost his thoughtfulness, kindness appreciation and consideration for others so generously and graciously; without ceremony, rather it being as who and what he really was and lived
all his life with which he touched and inspired us all the more.
Last, but so lovingly you merged the known and unknown about August, into a most beloved combination of memorably endearing
Eulogy and his treasure and gift to us as exceptional poet on this
site, who will be missed most dearly and gratefully evermore!
Yes, he is now home, never forgotten amongst us here
mortals, and free from all earths trials and perils, safely, blissfully
with Lord above.

and they would have a lot to talk about the next time they see each other...I'm sure his very proud of her...

August started his own company...it was named...
Carpenters for Christ...he financed it himself...
he would travel all over to places everywhere...
he would help people for free...he was a very kind guy...
I'm going to miss his name popping up in my pm...
