I wish they would bring back those sweet vintage cards. This is an adorable 1-6-1. Your poem and chosen artwork are perfect for each other. I enjoyed the 'shh' sounds throughout; great rhyme. A wonderful contest entry.

hey there Gale... I am so glad you liked this verse... it is fun to think of rhymes for this type of challenge. there are a lot of vintage cards and valentines on Ebay ~ I happen to be a seller of such cards (not this particular one). It truly is a lost art, but collector's still like them. Thank you!

The pic is cute and I enjoyed reading your wee poem.
I m an expert on crushes ( biggrin)
mainly for film stars or characters on TV series that I find interesting.
I know it's ridiculous..I mean they're fictional yet I get all wrapped in them .
Good thing I m totally single ( biggrin)
My first ever crush as a kid was for Richard Burton , then Peter O'Toole and James Dean.
I even wanted to follow in his footsteps and die at 23.
When I finally got there I change my mind and passed onto Billy Bob Thornton.. I loved the rebel spirit.
I better stop here , I have already made a fool of myself enough. ( wink)

This is an excellent 1-6-1 poem for the contest
with correct syllables that many on fanstory will relate to.
Looks like something the could be on a greeting card.
Nicely done.
Best wishes.

This 1-6-1, Hush Hush, has the proper formatting and makes the reader lan towards the notion of love and possiblities with another. Love is in the air. Nice.
