I wrote on emotions or feelings as being unreliable, I frequently woke up when I was a gambler, "feeling" lucky, and coming home with an empty wallet. Faith is described in the Bible as being, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" Hebrews 11:1, which is an inner certainty, the other faith is the gift of faith in 1Corinthians, well done, blessings, Roy

Thanks for calling that out to me. Very helpful! I shouldn?t have used the word warn and confused faith with intuition which I know are two separate things. What I was trying to do, was explore the idea that my faith helped me know if something or someone approaching was good or evil. I missed my mark here,

I knew what you meant, we can sense danger, or anticipate a good event, but it can still be unreliable. Definitive faith is more reliable than that, thanks for being gracious.

The poem flows well until the last line. It isn't clear to me.
Faith warns friend of foe. Why would faith warn friend. Or is faith warning in general...it's unclear what's going on. I like the way you describe light as shimmering up ahead. I can picture it. Very apt description

Yes, I should have used another word than warn. I spoke more of intuition being helped by faith. Anyway, thanks for your correct thoughts here. I really do appreciate it.

This is a most interesting interpretation of faith as intuition, or as you have written the sixth sense. I suppose it might work both ways, but if we had the ability to determine those things on our path that don't mean us well, it would make life a lot easier.

You are correct? more about intuition than faith I suppose. I was trying to incorporate faith as helping us to discern what was good or evil?not necessarily friend or foe. I didn?t quite make that clear.
