The touch of normality with the wedding dresses helps us realize how life goes on despite the downers. Nice touch.
The successful escape of Analise brings a sigh of relief to the story as we know that justice will prevail. Your stories are always so interesting, Sally.

This chapter moves right along at a fast pace, and I love it. Selecting the wedding gear a delight, as was the fast action afterward.

And lucky thing Analiese survived. A little CCR is always a great ending.

Great writing, Sally, and always a pleasure to read and review. :))

Just so exciting as the unknown closeness of the killer brings this scene of moving through the dark tunneling. I can feel the adrenaline and rise as we read through to her apparent rescue. Nice.

Oh, things are getting scary! I can't imagine Agent Washburn is still alive. Analiese is lucky to be. But how were they found? Someone must be a rat.

Hi Sally,
What a suspenseful chapter! Analiese Irving is safe for now, but what of the FBI agent, Ken Washburn? We don't know if he's alive or dead.
It was nice to see Ana praying, asking for forgiveness in her dealings with Tony the Tiger. But she will have to pay for her misdeeds. God will forgive her. He is merciful.
I never cared much for CCR, but Green River is definitely one of their better songs. I'm afraid Louisiana and its swamps and gators will never see me. Not my cup of tea. I'd rather go to Alaska for a week, and stay in a log cabin.
Nicely penned! But I hope Sally the sleuth will be safe while her menfolk are chasing Eugene.
Hugs,
Kimbob

Thank you for the super review and star blast, dear Kim. I'm always so very honored by this. I think I would love an Alaskan cruise and stopover. It is so beautiful in a different sort of way. I live in Florida on a lake. It's much like Louisiana here. We have a nature preserve near us and all sorts of creatures roaming our property. We also enjoy gator burgers from time to time. Tastes like chicken. ;)

So glad to finally see your new chapter. I was keeping "vigil" hehe waiting for you. This was an exciting read. I can't decide if Analiese had done an about face for justice or what? No spags.

Hello sweet Sal! I must admit that I have not been reading this story and have no idea of the previous plots and themes. but... after reading this, your writing is well done and your cast of characters is varied and relevant to the plot. Good luck on the future chapters.

How intriguing! You do keep your reader on the edge of their seat. I really enjoyed this suspenseful chapter and hope Ana will be okay. I hope the good guys got there just in time to save her from danger.
I just don't know how you do it, dear girl. You sure amaze me even further with each chapter.
Needless to say, you have a winner here. I would be trekking this off to a publisher for the Pulitzer.
Keep on, keep on. You are unbelievable!
My best always,
Marie

This line shows the relationship between Sally & her husband. "My detective husband wouldn't leave me until he had tightened the security at River Ridge Hospital. This was understandable, and for once, I didn't argue." It has a bit of humor to it. The reader waits with the Analeise to see when she needs to run. I hope she replaced the hatch. You've done well keeping up the suspense.

I like that this points out the dedication and loyalty of so many unknown people who put their lives on the line to protect those who are innocent. Another well written and exciting chapter! Smiles and hugs, Janet

Thank you for the glorious review and shiny stars, dear Janet. My fictional police force are like so many real ones, hard working with a strong bond with each other. It is one the hardest, thankless, jobs, and so attacked these days. I have enjoyed writing this and adding the virtues and values I've admired in so many real people.
