A precious one and your son's gift of life lives on. After reading your work, I went to get my Florida State Identification instead of carrying around a driver's license I could no longer use. It was then I became an organ donor. Sending you my best today, many thanks and blessings from above,

When an event like this happens in your life you have no choice but you do have a decision and a response to make.
How you approach it will determine the rest of your existence.
Thank you Sally I've always respected your work here.

Congratulations to you, my friend, and God bless you, that three out of four of the donees blessed by your donation of your son Jason's organs, are still living their lives! The gift that keeps on giving!
I know it certainly wasn't your original plan -- you and your wife, Caroline, I think you said? -- for the beautiful baby boy she gave birth to on 11/5/84, but you both, by the grace of God, gave life to Jason, and then by the grace of God, his organs gave life to all of those people: three people living today, and a fourth, for however long God allowed him or her to breathe in this world, beyond what would have been expected.
How can we even comprehend such things? Did even Solomon, in all his wisdom, conceive that such a thing could ever become possible? And yet, you were given that opportunity, and you made the right choice. Who knows how many other people may have been blessed, through those individuals, whose lives were spared? God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. There is no way that we can comprehend the plan He has, but His love is beyond anything we can imagine. You were privileged to participate in that love -- although it also involved an unimaginable amount of pain. But God knows every tear you shed, and He is with you every moment. May you, your family and all of those donees be greatly blessed!
It's really amazing that Jason named his band, "Three Ways to Save"! All these years later, three people are still alive, with Jason's organs -- just amazing. Praise be to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords!
