Hello Katherine,
This is the first time I've read this. I'm supposed to be getting heads up when you write. I was thinking maybe you were taking a sabbatical or some such thing. Anyway, you hit the nail on the head. I've felt the anger and frustration as well. It's hard to believe that we're being sold down the road and there are still people who refuse to accept the truth. I truly believe that they must be gaining some financial reward for their loyalty. Keep speaking out gal. You have more people who feel like you do than you might imagine.

have been sick -slowly recovering.
what a nice surprise to come back and read your encouraging note.
I sincerely hope you're right. The news is so depressing and maddening I feel that this country will never be the same. Our only hope is if we regain the House in '22. Of course, that depends on whether or not we have fair elections.
I don't know if I think God is teaching us a lesson or if He will perform a miracle and save us - that's what it will take, I fear.

I am not American but I can feel the frustrations of Americans especially with the situation in Afghanistan. We used to look up to America but many now are looking down at America because of what happened. Only God can help us. Thanks for sharing, Kit.

For one thing, this is making us look weak in the eyes of the world. Our allies will think the U.S. can no longer be counted on, and our enemies can't wait to take advantage, especially now that they have all that U.S. equipment. The State Department and Generals in charge did poorly too in their decision making. I thought the Secretary of State Blinkin was terrible in explaining the last of the evacuations. We don't have anyone to turn to in government, unfortunately. Kamala Harris is nowhere to be seen. judi

Yep, I did blast off, because I was and still am upset. Don't know if I asked you if you get /watch News Max? They're guests, I think most all of whom are or have been military, are furious.
I cannot believe any American who loves BEING an American isn't angry at Biden, Milley, Austen, and the state department. They are all a disgrace.

I don't dispute one thing. I agree with it all. I have to wonder what all the folks who voted for Biden/Harris are thinking at this point. Are they still so fervently behind them? Surely, surely not. How could they be? This drives me crazy. Thanks!

and it gets worse. Our State Dept is calling the countries of destination for the planes that individual groups have gotten to take people out and telling them not to accept them. That's from the man responsible for getting the planes.
