Thank you Ricky for your tale and poem. We had a tornado hear once. And as legend goes no tornado will ever hit our town where 3 rivers meet. That miss conception was discarded that day. You have a interesting and intriguing way of explaining a storms destruction. Thanks for the quality read.

Well thank you Captain Cook for your time.
Yes, and also for your reference.
To your own personal experience.

This is a very lively poem engaging in the many 'twists' and 'turns' of hurricanes, past and present. The author's notes are quite entertaining.
I enjoyed your artful poem.

Nicely worded piece. To me it had a very unique tone. There was danger and death about, but it also had comedic and light elements to it. Very much enjoyed it, thanks for sharing.

Extraordinary writing that contains many a familiar phrase we could call cliché but used appropriately in this well written poetry!
With a new hurricane in its throws where I live in Alabama, I can relate to every stanza.
Your author's notes are as interesting as the poetry! I need to follow you!
Cleo's work is also beautiful here! Good. Choice!

Yes right now at this time.
The hurricane Ida is hitting Louisiana is approaching a level 5 which is crazy.
What's more crazy is it's already had one tornado spin off!!
The last time I checked Gusts to 185 and sustained winds of 159!
Thanks for sharing!

What great symbolic format you have displayed in this prose poem. The use of popular stories and movies we have all seen. I haven't been here for a long time. And just lost a wife to lymphoma this 2/24/21 I'm using this my writing to get away from life.
Only 5 stars because I'm just about out of 6 stars.
