Oh, you have my sympathy! I wonder if there isn't some nutritional thing that throws the moods out of whack. I remember when my daughter took calcium-magnesium supplements, it helped. I think keeping foods organic, too. You see I'm grasping at straws but it's a phase when we parents feel so helpless but the things we can control is in the environment. Just keep praying and don't respond to what is said but just gently respond with understanding to the emotions. It gets better in another decade! ð???

That's a good point, Helen... I will have to try and make her eat herself pleasant!
    Thanks for your lovely feedback.
    Best wishes as always, Debra

Just be careful it's not something else. I was hiding a lot of stuff at that age that my mom wrote off as hormones that really wasn't. It's a pretty crazy age in general but you just never know. Good luck and eventually she'll come around. It took me awhile but even I did.

Thank you so much for your great feedback and 6 star award. I appreciate both.
Thanks also for the heads up that there maybe something else too... she says not, but I'll keep a close eye.
    Best wishes, Debra

Hahaha...I remember my daughters and son's teenage years. They had so much attitude. It was mostly my daughters but my son got into trouble too.

Well done my friend.

You have to laugh, Debra, you were like that once! I know I was, my mother often told me. Lol. Hold on tight, you have a few years of this, so smile and grit your teeth. Wonderful, very descriptive poem, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

    Hi Sandra,
Somehow, I have received twin reviews from you for this poem! Don't know what happened there...oops!
    Thanks again!

That has happened twice recently. I wonder what's going on! It has to be a glitch on FS because you can't do it manually. Anyway, now you know how much I enjoyed your rant about your young daughter! It can only get worse!!!! Lol. xxxx

I pity my mother during those years. She would say girls were some much harder than boys at that tender age. I didn't start my period until I was fifteen as I was athletic. But the emotional roller coaster hit long before that.
Sending you my best today as always and encouraging words: one day, she'll be your best friend.

It sounds like you're in for a few tough years until she gains some maturity and controls her outbursts. You've described the situation well in your 7-syllable lines. Good luck with parenting!

    LOL! Thanks LisaMay :)
The older two didn't give me much of a hard time at this stage, but this one is making up for them, I think!
