There are many interpretations of the word 'introvert'. My take is this...
Someone who enjoys their own company likes being alone, with his deep thoughts. Tires quickly when in a group and usually leave early to think his/her own thoughts.

Yes it's an interesting word 'introvert'-I guess there's a tiny particle, at least of the introvert in all of us ! thanks for reading and sharing

Love your description of how your characters visit you during the daylight hours. I've had that happen to me. Also when you're doing research for a topic the story just jumps out at you.

I saw nothing to correct...It's totally good to go...Good luck in the Contest...

Brilliant, this is what it's all about, this is writing! I read this, but except for the characters, I felt I had put these words down myself. My only difference is, I write during the day, but late at night, I see the actors taking their place's on the stage. I think--remember them, don't let it them slip into the night. And somehow I keep most of it. Morning--I run, well not really run, to the computer. There I want them to speak to me, tell me more about lives, after all, I just met them. Thanks for this!

Hi there,

I'm not sure I agree with the notion of writers being introverts. The art of writing itself, unless a collaborative or writer's room, may indeed be introverted as it's a solitary activity but most writers live in the real, living and breathing world.

I think one can separate the act of writing from the being who is a writer. many I know are extroverted in their research, gaining knowledge and experience and issues, happenings and the human condition which is difficult to achieve in isolation.

All the best

beside his( in earlier times it was usually only men who wrote or were recognised as writers) - insert a space before opening the brackets.

My writinglife occurs mostly in the small - writing life should probably be two words here.

if that what sitting alone - that's?

Yes many women wrote under a pseudonym because of the prejudice against female writers. The silence of the night helps to encourage our muse to work better as the peace lets the brain activate, this is what you must have done here, an unusual post, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
