Alert! Alert! Jack knew about this gold! Darryl know as well, and allowed Cynthia to assume he was in the dark... Cynthia has no redeeming social value in my book! (But then again, that's what you had be thinking about Darryl!)-- Good luck keeping her off the land and away from trying to locate Annie and the rest! Geez. As always, your plots twist and turn...and ultimately always come together!

Here we are! I wanted you to hurry up and read and then bang! I got swamped by life and by Fanstory and it's my turn to play catch up... Yes, Jack had discovered a lot of things but he hadn't shared them with anyone yet except Darryl who he trusted. Smiles, Carol

Carol,
I gotta admit, I was worried about Darryl for a long time, but now I'm settling down. I can see that he's for real and on the right team. Whew.
This was another fine chapter and so enjoyable. Moving on!

Yes, many thought Darryl was a bad guy, but he was just being loyal to Jack and doing what he was told. He had no idea who he could trust either. Smiles, Carol

Now that Darryl has unloaded all the secrets he's been safeguarding, Hank and Garth have a lot of grist for the mill to mull over. Lots of pieces are beginning to fit into a very large puzzle. Emmy's arrival has a very calming effect on Hank, as the story rolls on nicely.

I'm glad the agents are becoming aware of the issues of Cynthia, Michael and gold on the property. It was also great to meet Emmy, and to see her interacting with Hank.
My suggestions:
"That's quite a burden, Darryl has been carrying around."
-->
"That's quite a burden Darryl has been carrying around."
"Sorry, I skipped out on you,
-->
"Sorry I skipped out on you,
In your summary, I don't think this sentence should be between the ones about Mary, Faith and their family:
"Cynthia and Michael are searching for gold on Liz's property."
I would like to suggest that you place it before, or afterwards.

I missed your promotions on the previous two chapters, and I didn't want to miss this one, too, so I decided to review this one first, and then go back and review the others if I have time (which I hope to do). Wow, you're fast!

You're very welcome, my friend, and I always appreciate your generous promotions. Yes, we have to keep the FS engine running! But if I have a chance, I'll go back to the missed chapters. You're a very good writer!

You do such an excellent job in displaying with your well-written words, the growing relationship between these male characters. Their trust and concern is evident. And I like the relationship between Hank and Emmy. Another great chapter.

Wow. I sure missed a lot of whatever happened in the previosus chapters. But I loved this post, mainly because of Hank and his wife, lol. This detective story sure has lots of turns and twists, and I imagine it like a crime tv show. Also, I know I haven't reviewed much of your stuff lately but ... HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! :) :) ;)

I am happy to see that you stopped by and enjoyed this chapter. Lives get busy and we miss seeing each other at times. I appreciate it when you can read and review, but I love it more when you enjoy what I have written.

I'm glad that Darryl let Hank and Garth know what Cynthia knows. Now how will they keep that woman and her nephew off the property? And when will then know about Miguel's ties to Caldwell? Ah, but I guess we have to give time for the lovebirds to be happy to be together.
Suggestions:
the Cranston's lawyers told him (Cranstons')
"My thoughts wonder (I wonder)

I am working on that at the moment!!! Yes and the lovebirds need to enjoy some time together before we jump back into the depth of things. Then you'll be yelling at me to stop. LOL
suggestions fixed. Thanks!

I'm glad that Emmy has arrived and will add more "women's intuition" to the events. The story continues to be intriguing and compelling. Perhaps they will start to be on guard about Cynthia now, and at least some key people now know about the gold, and will suspect that some people do want the land enough to commit murder. Well written as always.

I hope we can start to see what's happening and change the course of a few things as we proceed. Though I do fear evil will still play its hand. I just can't seem to find a world without disaster lurking. LOL

Another well-written chapter. Glad to see a husband and wife still very much in love with each other. That's unusual these days. Good dialogue between Darryl, Hank, and Garth to explain lots of details for us. Blessings. Carol

I hope to have cleared up a few things for the reader and add a bit of love as well. We need it because I think evil still lurks nearby. I love Hank and Emmy together.

Yes, the details in the dialogue helped. Looking forward to the next segment. Have a blessed weekend.

This chapter 27 maintains a high standard of writing.
The continuity and good structuring continues.
The story flows evenly and smoothly.
Characters are easily identified and dialogue is well spaced.
It is descriptive, well formatted and fast moving. The account of Hank and Emmy meeting again is memorable and compelling. Best wishes for every success to completion.
