This is yet another beautiful tribute to Bob (Mastery) and is beautifully written. You shared the highlights of your friendship, which is a lovely touch. Although we weren't close, I learned of his early struggles through Ralf (Raffaelina Lowcock) and his book "Falling Up the Stairs," after he had fallen ill, and came to admire his perseverance in life as well as his obvious talent with the written word.
Once I learned of his illness, I prayed for his recovery, and was very sad when his life came to an end. I am enjoying his entries in the "Santa Diaries" from time to time, which show yet another side to his personality, so full of fun, humor and caring. He also showed great love and concern for his siblings (from whom he was often separated) in the book about his childhood.
Excellent picture for your tribute! When I saw your post, I was happy to see that he's still being remembered.
May he rest in peace with God.

An outstanding tribute to a terrific poet and author of many stories, including my favorite mystery ones. I loved the way he could weave the story and hold the reader's attention and leaving them clamoring for more. He will be missed by many.

He was a pro at cliff hanger endings. I never knew what would be happening next, and that is a great talent to have. Thank you so much for reviewing and sharing your thoughts.

Hi Janet, I couldn't believe he passed...he had just told me he was going into surgery to have two toes removed because of his diabetes...I told him I would keep him in my prays...
and I read one of Robyn's poems...he had passed...that he wanted to go home to die...
I have a few of his books...he was an amazing writer...
and I love his detective stories...and I was so sorry he went through when he did as a child...

In March, he requested that I collect his poetry and stories into a book for his children, to which I consented. I had no idea it would be this soon!

He truly leaves a vacuum that is unfillable.
That is the way with good friends when they
depart much too soon. I know you were a great
uplift to him with the project you handled,
