Another great chapter in your exciting Louisiana story of intrigue and suspense! So Miles is marrying Suzy? And Olivia has finally been discovered as the missing person, Camille Jean-Baptiste.

I don't like the idea that Eugene is on the trail of Analiese, but at least she's got the two FBI agents with her.

Some small errors and suggestions:

No Big Box stores or self-serve check outs.

This may seem like a ridiculous Yankee question, but is a Gator Burger made out of the usual meat, or... alligators? If alligators, and there are no substitutions, I might have to pass.

I love your sense of humor:
"Brought your cell phone? How nice. There are no cell towers within a fifty-mile radius."

You have a lot of characters involved here and I did have trouble following the action, but I think it is because I last read about Det. Sally Law many chapters or another book ago. Each section here is quite interesting, you write very well, and each section is attention grabbing. Great work.

i would not want to be anywhere near that cabin... that was about the creepiest description I'd heard. Add in Eugene the tree-tall specimen with bulgin knuckles and I believe we have a mixed cocktail waiting to explode. The agent sure got off his phone in a hurry.

Some good things but I pray they don't get squashed by all the bad.

Smiles, Carol

Hello Sal.

It looks like the Tiger has someone ready, willing, and able to do his dirty work. They have decided to hide Analiese in the same place that Eugene buys his takeout. I remember when Burger King motto was "Have it Your Way." I haven't been there in a long time so I don't know if it is the same. That doesn't sound like a good turn.

I'm sure that Eugene has his methods for getting his job done, and it would be delightful if the good guys figured this all out first.

This is a good chapter, Sally, full of good feelings and good news, except for the description of the shack in the woods and the character waiting in line! That has me worried. Well done.

I found one little spag: "The tree-tall specimen of a man learned(leaned) forward...)

Hooray! A reunion and a future wedding! What a lot of things happened while Sally was in a coma! Hope more details about how that reunion transpired will come later. Good for Samson to help identify Camille.
The big guy at the gater restaurant sounds a little scary. Hope they protect Annaliese well.

An interesting episode indeed, the man Eugene not only sounds scary but he's liberal with his cash as well, I wonder if the blind girl is safe in her hospital bed, as she should be. Looking forward your next episode, well done, blessings Roy

Hello Sally
I'll say that you know how to keep us readers, where we find your writing is keeps one wondering what is next. In this chapter you wrote something about Susy ---

when She touched my hand to her left ring finger, trying to suppress a giggle.
"Suzy! What is this? I didn't know you were seeing anyone! Spill this instant!"

Well done, again. This Eugene creep sounds ominous. I hope the Blind girl is gonna be safe. Plenty of mystery through here and I guess we will catch up on her missed 3 months.

I can't wait to find out what happens next. I am worried about Analiese Irving. She's not innocent, but I have a feeling bad things are trying to happen to her.

mosquito eaten, dilapidated trapper's cabin (I didn't know mosquitoes could eat a cabin.)

Oh yeah. This of course is for effect in the settings of the swamp. Everything is mosquito eaten here. Thank you so much.
