This haiku is good advise for live. Love is always worth it no matter how short even if it hurts in the end. I like the door with the roses and what look like champagne flutes decorating it. Both signs of love like the single long stemmed rose.

That is the most stunning artwork: I always felt a single rose more beautiful than a garden or box full of them. And life does go quickly if you're too busy to stop and smell a rose. I know that's corny but I couldn't resist. LOL!

Not that I'm looking for any, but was still greatly bemused when I was invited out for a drink the other day by a total stranger . Who would have thought!!

Life truly does go so quickly that it's almost gone before we know it. But how many real chances do we have for real love, I question. Lust can be instantaneous, but love takes time. And with such busy schedules and responsibilities, we seldom find the time to put in the effort. As I often have said, I spent my whole life chasing all the things I thought were important, while missing out on everything that truly should have been. Fleeting love, almost sounds like a quickie. Here is another one we must not forget, 'It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.' I don't remember this early in the morning who said that, but I think it was Shakespeare. You have captured the essence of the dichotomy of love. We long for it, yet it can hurt us so badly. I do not regret the loves of my life. I hope the same holds for you.
