Wow, this is eerie and very sad. Reduced to the clicks we do is a sure way to dehumanize what I see as a chance to express myself with the friends I have made and new friends I will make along the way. I cannot go along with your idea of what the internet has become. It can be that way, but it doesn't have to be. We can choose to continue to add the human touch to our posts and replies and reviews if we want to. And that is the way I roll, as a friend of mine was so fond of saying. The starkness of the print and such is indicative of your view on the subject. I hope this is only a part of how you see it, my friend.

Thanks for the excellent review and for the interesting comments. In some ways you are right, the internet gives us this chance to share our ideas and creativity with people we wouldn't have otherwise met; but it is not ideal, and some elements of social interaction are lost, like body language and authenticity. There is only so much you can convey in a two dimensional plane. I would much rather meet everyone in person someday and hash things out over a coffee table. estory

Sounds good to me, too! I would love to have these interesting and stimulating conversations with folks like you over snacks and discuss things face to face. In the meantime, we can write about these things, and that is something, in itself, my friend.

Do you mean Fan Story used to have a yearly convention? I joined in 2016 and never heard of one.
