Interesting picture and a good poem to go with it. I suspect the worst culture vultures are cruising the internet writing bad reviews about writing, art, music, and anything they are jealous of.

Vulture symbolism also speaks about purification and the restoration of harmony in one's life. It symbolizes the time to right your wrongs and break free from the shackles of one's ego. It sounds like the vulture in your poem is greedy (hoard) and no one can grow.

Cool culture haiku. I was confused by the subject so I googled it. A culture vulture is a person who adopts something from a different community and makes it their own. But telling by the context of your haiku it sounds like you used the culture vulture as a metaphor.

In never quite thought of things in that way, my mind was on certain subjects, like language, arts or music taken from school curriculums that's hard to replace, considered unimportant, but that is never true, without culture we aren't definable. Beautifully written, well done, blessings Roy
