Wow! I enjoyed this one. Very clever. It does feel like we are going in a downward spiral as a society and culture and the virus seemed to catapult us right over the edge.

Yes, when it comes to destroying each other in war. Yes, raping our neighbors wife.
Yes, stealing from the family down the street!

Your poem has gone viral! Yes, I am thinking along those lines as the Delta variant is spreading. This CoVid virus is indeed something spawned from the wrong side of the tracks - a loose cannon gone viral. Hopefully this is the last wave. We all need a permanent reprieve from its clutches.
