I liked having the explanation/story up at the top. The Story itself could be flushed out a little more and stand strong on its own you have a good voice and the story itself is an emotionally moving one. The poem itself pulls at emotions and brings strong images to my mind.

I like hearing of your history. Sorry you had that rough start. I never understand how nun's could think that kind of actions are christian.
You are right that she is a good writer.

they not serving God...their just trying to make themselves look like something their not...

I'm so sorry you had this very hard thing to deal with and that it affected your sister so badly. It would do the same to me. Being left like that is so scary. It happened a lot years ago, today kids just get abandoned. Glad you and she had writing to express your feelings. Thank you for sharing.

It is very interesting to see the poem she wrote, and how those struggles and pain infused her poem. It was like an expression of her feelings of abandonment and all her insecurities. The images in the poem were really quite striking and emotional. Very poignant. I could see how she got published. estory

She picked you up and dropped you off....where? Did you live with her after she picked you up?

Hi Gypsy, in the story I told of where my mother dropped us off at the orphanage...and then just walked away...years later...she came and picked us up...
I love my sisters poems...she was so talented...I miss her so much...
