I think this is a beautiful piece of work treated with great sensitivity, to be dedicated to your wife and son.
I enjoyed particularly the last three lines, I thought they were sad yet very strong at the same time. Thank you

Sometimes I get reviews like I just got a four-star on something beautiful because they didn't understand the word s e a.
When they thought it should be SE E.
Of course it's about the ocean and they just didn't get it.
And then they post that according to Fan stories rules that they have the right to give it four stars only.
My feelings are if you're going to write on this site and you have the ability to give five and six stars give them out they're not costing you a nickel and don't pretend to be a teacher here on Fanstory.
Plus you have to realize you cannot defend your work when people trance it with one star because they don't understand it you will get blocked.
In other words just be nice to the person and then block them so you don't have to put up with stupidity.
But I'm sure you've seen that yourself Beejay?

Nice reflection and love the use of the sea and summer to get your points across in this poem. The art work is wonderful as well. There is a sense of quiet sadness in looking at past memories.
