What s beau tribute to Miss Cookie, and I liked reading of the personal interactions you had with her. She will be at peace and without pain, as you say. The greatest thing is that she is with her Saviour. Thank you for sharing. Blessings to you.

This is such sad news. I have been wondering when Miss Cookie would return, as I always very much enjoyed reading and reviewing her from the heart, authentic posts. She was a beautiful soul.
Rest in peace Cookie, and thank you for being you. And thank you, Roy for writing such a fine tribute.

My dear brother Roy, my brother in Christ, it is with profound sadness that I read your poem -- and yet I share your joy in knowing we will see Miss Cookie again, in the sweet ever after, with Jesus, the Lord and Savior of us all.
I thought her name was Cookie Atkinson, rather than Anderson -- am I wrong? I just tried to look her up, but I suppose she didn't prepare by getting the eternal flame on FanStory, or whatever it's called. She had the True Eternal Light, living within her, and she's in the light of His Presence now.
I really had no idea she was gone -- I should have realized that she hadn't written poetry or stories in awhile. I can't accept, somehow, that Covid-19 got her -- I think I remember that it killed her younger sister, too, last year. I just learned this now, when I opened this page, wondering what a "Farewell Cookie" is -- can you imagine! This is making me cry, Roy.
You wrote a truly beautiful poem, in her honor. She was a beautiful soul. She was a simple, sincere person, but I am sure she is radiant in the Presence of Christ, not unlike the image you chose to go with your poem -- beautiful, bravo!
Thank you for honoring our sister with this magnificent post!

You're welcome, Roy. I wish I had a six I could have given you for that.
I can't believe she's gone. Not only that, but her name has disappeared from FanStory... it would have been comforting to read her beautiful, faith-filled poems and stories, even to communicate with her family.
Do you know when she passed into eternity? How did you learn of this? She was such a blessing to the members here. She will be greatly missed... a humble and very kind woman of tremendous faith in Jesus Christ, Our Lord! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful poem. God bless you, Roy. - Mary Kay

Oh my. It was a dear friend from another site where we all wrote who informed me of Cookie's death from Covid. He and I knew her as Cookie Arnold! I did not realize she was here as well as there...you called her Cookie Anderson! Not sure where all the news is filtering from, but Lord almighty I hope we're all writing about the same "Cookie!"---
Yikes!

Thank you so much this tribute for Cookie! I love that you mention about her singing and dancing. I know she was already exuberant with joy in the Lord while in her hurting body, but now she's in her perfect body, she can truly rejoice.
