Well written. With the way the world is advancing I wouldn't be surprised if water became worth more than diamonds, I am curious if that was what your phrase was alluding to. The elements are a well respected muse, good luck in the contest!

Well, you certainly give new image to the word "succulent" but, I'm altergic to bug spray. However, lovely picture and gentle words mindful of a pleasant morning in the garden. Best of luck.

To my dry and thirsty mouth, there has never been anything more pleasing than that first gulp of cool pleasing taste of water. As it slides down my throat, cooling and totally satisfying. I am transported to a special place. Oh I love soda, juice and an occasional beer, but for true satisfaction, I will take a bottle of water with the ice falling from its sides, chilling my hungry, thirsty mouth and throat. Ahhhh.

Your choice is spot on! Water is not only life-giving, it is so much more when it comes to writing. The rain, the sea, the pool, the puddles, all from water and all enspire the muse to write. Well done, this is an excellent contest entry. Good luck! :)) Sandra

Not sure if it's my muse but I love watching bodies of water. It does something to me just to sit and watch the waves. The poem was lovely and displayed great writing skills.
