I'm pleased your poem won. I voted for it because I thought the imagery was delightful. (I was unsure about the syllable count of celestial, perhaps it is only 3 syllables in which case you are one short for the last line.)

Updated poem follows the contest requirements
Well done.
A fine visual presentation for this poem, accompanied by descriptive wording for a compelling idea.
Sadly, the syllable count does not follow contest requirements:
*How many syllables are in gemstones ? 2 syllables
*How many in celestial? 3 syllables
Review guidelines allow 4 stars or less where work is needed.
The author has the opportunity to revise this poem.
Best wishes for the contest

This short poem vividly placed me right there in that warm evening looking at the heavens. Gazing up as you describe reminds us of our small place in the universe.
