Sally, each chapter gets better! This one certainly took an unexpected turn and has left us wonder what the whole story is. I'll be waiting for the next chapter.

You've written a fantastic story of building suspense, and high-ranging emotions. The dialogue is rich and flows naturally. Wow - I didn't expect her to be out for three months. Great surprise.

Three months! That's a long time to be asleep. I imagine a lot has happened in that time. Tony is probably in jail, but I think they should have let King eat him. Will they have figured out who Olivia is? I can't wait to find out.

OMG! Three months! You were in Heaven a long time. And of course, you won't be blind in Heaven!! I loved your description, and that you met your uncle, who told you it wasn't your time. What an exciting chapter, Sal! I can't wait to read next weeks part, and find out what has been happening while Sally was in a coma. Well done! Lots of hugs! :)) Sandra xxx

A great way to start off my reading week, with another Running Blind chapter that always sure to get the old blood pumping. Every chapter you write is deserving of a six. They just don't give us enough. But luckily, today I get to reward your fine writing properly. Have a great week!

Three months!! What a note to finish on! So much will have happened, and we now desperately await the back story. Very gripping story, and you certainly maintain the interest! Well done.

Well described action in this chapter went much as expected until you shocked us with what occurred after King nipped Tony's arm. Clearly, neither martial arts skills nor a bulletproof vest can guarantee protection against a gun at close range.

Still, both your dream and eventual return to consciousness are consistent with God's caring intervention in your real life whenever needed; and Jackson's response fits his real life personality, which also is indicated in all books in this series.

One effect of this event is that your readers will no longer take your safety for granted in such situations, thereby increasing the suspense.

Now we all are eager to see what happened in the interim three months.

Superb, and aptly illustrated (which was not obvious at first).

    You are most welcome, Sal.

One other point I noticed after reading all the other reviews is that no one mentioned Jackson's beard and shaggy hair, which do not match ANY picture of him you ever posted. His unkempt appearance can only mean that he had been watching over you he entire time so intently that he had neglected to shave or get his hair trimmed for those three months. That is what I was referring to when I said his response fit his personality, and is just one more example of the fact that ALL your books in this series are (one or more) love stories too.

Furthermore, in non-pushy ways, your unwavering faith is present in every story (and poem) you write. That is inspiring in today's difficult times. :)) -- Mike

Three months!! My goodness how does one survive a bullet to the neck? You certainly wrote a nail-biter here, Miss Sally! I am glad that Tony did not get away but the switch was definitely risky. Great job with this!

It was an exciting chapter, to say the least, and I was thrilled when Olivia got away. I didn't expect you to get shot in the neck, though. But the biggest "pow" for me was when you said the coma was for three months...In October 2013, on the way home from vacation, my husband got sick. I drove like a maniac the last 200 miles and got him to Rockford, where an ambulance raced him to the hospital. By the time I got to the hospital, he was in a coma, and it lasted for three months... Your story made me wonder if he'd been visiting in heaven...because the next five years, every time we went to the hospital (almost monthly), they would tell me he wasn't going to make it, but he did...to me, he was given a miracle.

Sorry, I didn't mean to rattle on about our life...it just struck me because tomorrow is the anniversary of his death.

Love ya, Carol

Whoa there, Sally, ma fille aimante:

When you knock someone unconscious, you do not mess around - three months! The whole world can change in that amount of time. As slick as this particular madman, thief, murderer is, I won't assume that he is locked up anywhere - or, if he is, he will not be staying there long. Eagerly awaiting the next episode.
