The picture is perfect to create a powerful setting. It is a perfect metaphor. I love the plethora of allusion. I know I must have missed a few. I counted at least nine. this was very clever how you wove them in or Jason wove them. This reminds me of the book Wolf's Message by Susanne Gieseman. A boy who had nicknamed himself Wolf was struck by lightning. So was Susanne's daughter. Susanne meets Wolf's parents and there is a connection with what Susanne receives as messages from Wolf. You mifght check it out. It may inspire you to recognize even more from your son and to write more.

I feel so very humble to be reading your work...it's so sad, yet it's so obvious that Jason was an amazing person.
Beautiful words and sentiments and beautifully presented.

I undertook to review this piece with a slight lack of confidence, I must admit. The story is deep and thought provoking. It is skillfully crafted and emotive. The visual presentation is attention grabbing.
The theme might prove contraversial for some. I feel it is a courageous and noble decision to donate one's organs in order to help others.
I appreciate the spiritual attitude advanced in this piece.
Thank you for sharing. Best wishes

    Thanks Bonnie.
And, I have written hundreds of thousands of these and a lot of them on Fanstory.
And, in the past decade plus. There's never one time you'll see no mention for Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ.

This poem, Death for Sale, is a painful reminder and yet perhaps mostly an outlet for the never-diminishing loss of a precious son in his youth. The Jason and the Argonauts is a new revelation.

It's funny the thoughts we get in our head is children; especially growing up doing the "Silver Age of Comics"
    Thanks Sir Bill,

A sad tale you wrote here about your son Jason. He must have been an amazing and kind person. It's heartbreaking that he had to depart from life so young. But he had not gone forever. He left some very generous gifts as an organ donor. He is with our Divine Creator now.
Best wishes.

I appreciate your beautiful review Versch.
There will be more on this later on as there has been one other gift.
Yes, given by my son before he passed.
And, in which will shock you!
