Excellent Senryu about our sad present state of affairs on our country health crisis. I don't understand anti vaccination and mask... it's so ignorant.
Good syllables count and connection between lines. Nice presentation.

Stupid is just stupid. It is unbelievable that those who received vaccinations as a child and likely allowed their children to get the same refuse to vaccinate themselves now to protect their family and the greater world community.

Thanks Angel for seeing my point. I try to use FanArt illustrations, artwork, and photos for all my posts.
The winner in that contest had a superb message. It deserved the top podium placement.

The poem itself does follow the 5-7-5 syllable format. Is it about emotions? I don't think it is about emotions directly, but I'm sure it elicits some emotions in some readers.

There is a lot of false information out there ..and our leaders don't help by saying one thing one day then another the next ..
The vaccines are still in the sperimentale stage because it is a fact you need a certain amount of time for a new vaccine to undergo the necessary trials ..
Pfizer and AstraZeneca were out already in December ..
initially there was no mention of side effect like blood clots .. only after so many deaths in Europe did the firms put the warning on the boxes.
So did they know and say nothing
Or they didn't know because the period of trials had been cut short and they put a product on the market that was still sperimentale.
Our governments keep on saying that the vaccine is our only tool against the virus ..and yet there is a plasma treatment for the virus that even Trump did when he caught covid .
Also these vaccines are what caused the variants .. it's the way a virus finds to get around the vaccines .. it modifies its structure ..
The vaccines also mind our own immunity system..
Will we ever know where this virus originated.?
In the Wuhan laboratory where they were conducting experiments with thd virus under poor protocol measures and it got out
Or did it start in the wet market in Wuhan .. bats are carriers of this virus but they live far away in caves but people hunt and sell them to eat.. how dumb is that.
One thing is for sure China authorities knew the virus was spreading already in late oct 2019 in their country, yet they decided to speak up only in January 2020.
Precious time was wasted giving the virus the upper hand.
One day the truth will be told ..but I fear not in our time.

I had entered too but I forgot it should not rhyme .. I preferred to be disqualified rather than edit my wee poem.

I scratched a third place finish in that contest. I appreciate your support and vote. In the Olympics, I would not be on the podium. But I will accept the few liras FS awarded me. LOL
