Well done for several reasons - introducing me to a new form; creating an amusing poem showing good observation of your dog's behaviour; your syllable count in fives makes an engaging beat; and for reminding me of a springer spaniel I once knew - a delightful dog... I bet Molly is too.

How are things over your way?
Our country has gone totally bazurk. infuriating. but won't go into that.

Hello Katharine :) Lovely to hear from you and thank you for your feedback on the poem. I hadn't heard of the Emmett form until I just looked at some of the events in the clubs on here... it's a new one on me too!
Hope you are well, despite your berserk country!! All is as good as can be here with us - 2 out of 5 of us are self isolating (damn Covid) and our family holiday next Friday is now hanging in the balance, depending on test results...sigh
I didn't realise I had shared a pic of the kids and me (scratching my head!) but thanks anyway!

If we are mandated again with masks, I think a lot of people are going to rebel. Over a million illegal border crossers have been let in with God knows what diseases and many with Covid to be free to mix with concerned Americans, but that doesn't seem to matter to the mandaters. Idiotic!

That is a different type of poem and you have done it well - such a great contrast between the first and second verses. Nice picture of your dog. Sounds like a lot of humans who are never satisfied, always wanting something different.
