Yes, I totally agree. I have friends, family members and acquaintances who live their days and nights plugged into social media. The conservative voice has become more ridiculed and ostracized by the day. I spend very little time there anymore.

Sending along my very best today as always, and my very best for the contest,
Sally :))

All those vulnerable to bullying need to read this poem. One thing it does is tell them they are believed. That in itself becomes an important steps in healing. Becoming stronger does not mean we will nolonger be targeted or bullied. It means we will not let them break or spirit.

You did a good job. It's written nicely. It has passion and depth. I felt like most of the poem was blaming social media, for what I'm not certain. And then all of a sudden it's all ok cuz we can overcome. I'm sorry if that seems harsh. It's not meant to be. I read it 3 times. I can't say anything phenomenal or horrible. You did a good job.

I mostly had some young adult girls on my mind when I wrote this. I?ve seen so many girls get caught up in only allowing their social media accounts to validate them. Many getting the wrong kind of attention and tuning out everyone else around them. I know I didn?t specify this in the poem.

Oh I totally get it. That makes sense. Thanks for taking my opinion so we'll. I don't like upsetting anyone.

Great job. You are right. We can't let social media run our lives. You expressed your thoughts well in this poem. Keep writing your poems. Good luck to you. Best wishes.

I do agree with you on the negative effects of social media. It is what is dividing this country and dividing families. Too many are willing to accept what they see on the computer or hear on the news as fact without bothering to check it out. Nicely written.

Social media spreads fear among the people and I have seen this happen in my town, especially over the virus. I have continued to wear a mask in certain circumstances, but outside in the fresh air it is not necessary unless you are talking with someone at close quarters. I enjoyed your words here and you are so right, love Dolly x
