Congratulations, Miss Deb!!!
Darling 5-7-5.
Each word carries its own weight and meaning, adding to the message-especially the last line! I love it, and the neat picture, too.
Good for you!

Clever alliteration and who can't love a poem about bears? Congrats on snagging the win with this one! Mama's a big gal! I'd be obedient for sure if I was one of her cubs!--Karenina

Hi Debra,
A terrific entry for the 5-7-5 contest. I wish you good luck.
Your syllable count is correct, and I love the alliteration with "Biddable bear" and "synchronised strollers".
(We Canadians spell it with a "z"... "synchronized"
By the looks of things, these cubs have been taught to follow momma's tracks.
Your poem and picture caused me to think of the men's synchronized diving in the Olympics from Tokyo the other day. Have you been watching at all? I really enjoyed the women's soccer games best of all. I used to play on the soccer team when I attended the University of New Brunswick. Maybe that's why. I enjoy watching the women play more than the men. It seems to mean more to them. So much joy to the winners while the losers are heartbroken. But someone has to lose. Olympics only come around every 4 years. Perhaps this is the last chance for some to win a medal. Australia beat Great Britain 4-3 in the quarter finals. Canada plays the USA early Monday morning (our time). I'm looking forward to that!
Anyway, a nice entry for the contest!
Hugs,
Kimbob

I've been enjoying what I've seen of the Olympics. I'm in awe of every single competitor. Very proud of our team - they've knocked up a good few medals.
Talk to you again soon, take care :)

Great entry for the 5-7-5 Poetry Contest. Good syllables count and connection between lines. I like the presentation too. Good imagery... it's easy to imagine the bears walking along.

That's a lovely entry, accompanied by a beautiful image. You have composed a very cute 5-7-5 entry which should do well. I really like the "synchronised strollers" expression.

Ah, if all children would be "biddable" - but that's not realistic. But life is much more harmonious when they are. I loved the "synchronized strollers" with the Olympics on these days. Congrats to the British synchro divers!!
