I think you captured the digital age perfectly with this poem. With the hip hop double speak jargon of today, that admittedly is at times entertaining but at the same time maddening; it always leaves the masses feeling unsatisfied and wanting more, not realizing that what they truly need cannot be found there. Madness cannot cure madness it only agitates it, brings it out of people and makes it worse. The title to this piece echos the point.

You brought out the "helter skelter crazy pace of today's digital world" extremely well in this free verse poem. Charged with energy, imagery and visuals, it's an excellent read. I wish you had a picture... (smile)

I lived in New York for years, though not in the New York City, but I can pick up the pace from your well written words.

In some ways, I think living in NY for so long probably influenced my view of life and experience and created this chaotic, mad cap sense of pace that I have sometimes. This is great, dear estory. I like this accurate list of a world gone mad. Never in my life have I seen a nation disappear in a blink. Every day a new mandate is issued or new science is supposed to help us, yet, I wonder. The handlers of the false narrative are stripping our rights by the day. Yes, I can feel the fast paced, helter skelter paced world you describe so aptly here. I feel it every day infringing on my orderly mind that craves sense, lol.
No, I don't live in New York City but am sandwiched between two mega cities that have almost come together, much like pancake batter in a skillet. Pretty soon there will be one giant pancake-city.
