Another great tribute to one loved by all of us here. We all benefited both from his helps and also his great writing style. Thanks for adding to the collection of tributes. Just sorry as you said he did not get this latest Cleve novel finished.

Perhaps he is finishing his novel in Heaven. This is a touching tribute and nice contribution, dear Sanku. I bet it touches him a lot to read these words over your shoulder and to see how his characters came to life for you.

Thank you very much for the review and suggestions. I am not sure whether to use punctuation since that seems to be the trend.

For me, it depends on the poem. A poem that uses a lot of enjambment and no caps would likely need punctuation. A short poem often does not. Punctuation can also serve to accentuate dramatic pauses or sculpt cadences. In my own writing, I volley between full punctuation, minimal punctuation and no punctuation styles.

That is a very good point.In the early years many people have told me not to use punctuation... I used to wonder if I am an anachronism!!

It was sweet of you to leave a token of remembrance in this book. Yes, it's sad when someone special departs this earth. We never know when our time is up, and it rarely seems to be enough... we must always be ready, by having our hearts right with God.
Bob accomplished a lot in life. Even though he didn't finish his last book, it would be more important that he said goodbye to those he loved. And although he had a rough start in life, he managed to build a good family life nevertheless. That would be more important than his material accomplishments. I am praying for those who will miss him most, especially his family. May God rest his soul.
