It is so hard to buy things that are not made in China anymore. But gradually, we see things made in Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam. Still, it would be nice to buy things made right in the U.S. but it would probably cost double due to higher wages, and all the tendency to lawsuits here.
Great poem about an important part of your apparel to keep safe. My daughter had really heave rubber boots when she worked in a fish factory.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I was down catching salmon for the past seven weeks and had no access to the internet. Thanks for the kind review. Hello,
Cool entry for the Shoes contest. I've read so many good ones, yours included, it makes me want to write one but I don't want to pay for the contest fee :) tuffs boots seem like a practical choice, good flow and nice imagery.

Yes, isn't it a shame, so much is made in China now and no where near the quality we used to know. This was an interesting rhyming poem for the shoes contest, I enjoyed reading it and wish you luck in the contest.

Hi Dolly, thanks for reviewing. The boots aren't too terribly heavy, but they are neoprene, so they don't breath. When I'm in the midst of fishing, I don't pay too much attention to the discomfort. It's most evident at the end of the day. Thanks for your concern.

Thanks for your review. It's true, what we wear often depends on the type of work we do. I can't imagine a nurse or doctor wearing neoprene boots on the job, just as tennis shoes wouldn't work in a wet environment.

Thanks so much for your kind review. I prefer to purchase things made in America when I can, I would like my fellow countrymen to have the jobs. However, more and more has been sent overseas and I think one day we'll wake up and see that we are totally indebted to other countries. Have a great day.
